Delete Your Account
Last updated: May 6, 2026
You can permanently delete your Elevated Sports account at any time. This page explains the two ways to request deletion, what data will be removed, what we're legally required to keep, and how long the process takes.
Option 1 — Request deletion from your account settings
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the platform.
- Sign in at elevatedsports.com/auth.
- Go to Dashboard → Account.
- Open the Security section and select Delete Account.
- Type your email to confirm, then submit.
- You'll receive a confirmation email. Click the link inside it to finalize deletion.
Once confirmed, you'll be signed out and your data will enter the deletion queue (see Timeline below).
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't sign in, or you'd prefer a human to handle it, email us:
To: support@elavatedsolutions.com
Subject: Account Deletion Request
Include in the body:
- The email address on your account
- (Optional) the name on the account or any team / event names so we can locate it quickly
- Your confirmation that you want the account and associated data deleted
We'll reply from the same address to verify the request before deletion. You can withdraw the request any time before we confirm completion.
What gets deleted
When your deletion is processed, the following data tied to your account is permanently removed:
- Profile — name, email, phone, password, profile photo, any saved preferences
- Authentication — your sign-in credentials and active sessions
- Teams you coach — teams where you are listed as the coach, including roster details linked to your account
- Event registrations — your team's registrations for upcoming events (registrations for events that have already taken place are anonymized rather than deleted; see below)
- Tournaments you organize — events you created that have not yet started, along with their divisions, brackets, and pending registrations
- Organization profile — your organization's public listing, contact details, and logo
- Staff invitations and roles — any scorekeeper, referee, or coordinator assignments tied to your account
- Promos & ad campaigns — drafts, scheduled promos, and unpublished campaigns you created
- Referee marketplace data — applications, availability, and preferred-crew memberships
- Tickets purchased — admission tickets you bought (any unscanned tickets for upcoming events will be refunded to your original payment method)
- Notifications and messages — push tokens, email subscriptions, and in-app message history
- Stripe Connect link — the connection between your account and your payout destination on our platform (your Stripe account itself is owned by Stripe and is not deleted by us — manage it at dashboard.stripe.com)
- Uploaded images — banners, logos, and other media you uploaded
What we're required to keep
A small amount of information is retained for legal, financial, or integrity reasons. None of it is used to identify you publicly:
- Financial transaction records — entry-fee payments, payouts, refunds, and platform fees are retained for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years), as required by U.S. and Texas law. These records reference an internal anonymous ID rather than your personal details.
- Signed liability waivers — waivers signed before participating in events are retained so the event organizer can demonstrate informed consent. Personal identifiers in these waivers are minimized after deletion.
- Completed game results and standings — final scores, brackets, and standings for tournaments that have already happened remain in the historical record. References to your team are anonymized (e.g., "Team #4582") so other teams' records stay accurate.
- Fraud-prevention and abuse logs — records of policy violations or chargebacks are retained for a limited period to protect other users.
- Aggregate analytics — non-identifying usage data that has already been rolled into aggregate statistics cannot be removed retroactively.
Before you delete — special cases
If any of these apply to you, please resolve them first or include the details in your request so we can handle them cleanly:
- Active tournaments you organize — events that are currently in registration or in progresscannot be deleted automatically. We'll work with you to either (a) transfer ownership to another coordinator, (b) cancel and refund teams, or (c) wait until the event completes.
- Pending payouts— if you have an unpaid balance from completed events, you'll need to cash it out from Dashboard → Billing before deletion. We can't transfer funds after the account is gone.
- Team you coach is mid-event — your team will be unassigned from upcoming games. If your team is still in a live bracket or league, please coordinate with the event organizer first.
- Active subscription — your subscription will be canceled at the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months.
Timeline
- Immediately — your account is signed out and disabled. You won't be able to sign in again.
- Within 24 hours — your profile, photos, and personal details are removed from the live platform.
- Within 30 days — your data is purged from active backups. Encrypted long-term backups are overwritten on their normal rotation (up to 90 days).
- Records we're required to keep — retained per the schedule in What we're required to keep above.
After your account is deleted
- You can create a new account with the same email address at any time, but it won't be linked to your previous data.
- Public game results and standings from past events will continue to display, anonymized.
- If your team was registered by another coach, that team's registration is unaffected — only your personal account is removed.
